Winter Wonderland Christmas Kitchen Tour

Hope you all enjoyed seeing my family room all decorated for Christmas last week. If you missed that post you can see it HERE. Honestly I just had too many photos to share with you so I decided to divide things up this year on the tour. So today we're heading into the kitchen for all things woods and white and holiday kitchen decor!

First of all can we talk about this soft winter light? Although I'm not a fan of it getting dark so early I love the morning light I get in my kitchen. It just diffuses everything and makes all the white look so snowy. It definitely adds to the holiday feel. A warm fluffy blanket helps too!

I kept my kitchen table decor very simple. I found these clear glass demi johns in the fall and the marble tray as well. I simply added ornaments and twinkle lights and it's instantly Christmas.

You'd think having a large rug in the kitchen would be the worst with all the spills that could happen. But I have to say that I 've had this rug for over 2 years now and if there have been any major spills they have cleaned up really well. Or the pattern just hides it all.

I had a lot of fun styling my open cabinet shelves. This is really where I got to put my woods and whites theme to work. Also, did you know that wool dryer balls make the best snowballs for an indoor snowball fight? Yes, it might look pretty but it's fun too and functional later when I use these in my dryer later!

When you do a very neutral decor scheme its important to add layers of texture and a touch of shine. These wood beads are the perfect texture for this shelf and the mercury glass tree adds that sparkle.

Hope you enjoyed my kitchen decorated for Christmas! Stop by again later in the week for my home office tour.
