Truth be told, it's all I've been doing these days, but I was super excited to co-host Red, Burgundy and Plum: A Night of Fashion & Wine at Lost Society in DC with Zina Boutique and our lovely Stella & Dot stylist Kristin Biggs as part of the DC Wine Week celebrations.
The event was a huge success, with 53 guests, open bar, good conversation and of course, a bit of fashion and wine talk. We've had some great pieces of local media and a great buzz in the blogosphere. Love seeing all that hard work paid off, but I'm more than ready for a break!
Here are a few snaps of my week:
I may be smiling in these pictures, but I have reach my exhaustion limit. The Mr. had to go away on business much sooner than anticipated and left me with Little M during the two busiest times - one week before the kick off of DC Wine Week, then during the actual week.
Needless to say, I wasn't able to attend all of the events I have worked on but that's okay because I have a very handsome little man waiting for me everyday who doesn't like "when I go away."
Another bonus of not attending all of the events is not having to figure out what to wear. I feel uncomfortable more nowadays and I need stretch without looking scruffy - but I made it work!

Now I am taking a break from events for a while - the Mr. came back on Friday (YESSSSS!) and we are focusing on getting ready for Halloween with our little guy including spending a day at a local pumpkin patch!
This weekend was certainly a good, GOOD one!
