Story: Windows on the World starts as we meet the Mexican family, where the father Balthazar (Olmos) moved to America for a better life. His family back home have tried to make ends meet, but after the 9/11 attacks, they believe he was in the towers.

In the aftermath of 9/11, Balthazar’s family are worried but can’t get to America legally to find answers. This sees Fernando exploring the streets for answers, meeting strangers along the way who help him in his search for answers.

Verdict on Windows on the World

Windows on the World is a drama following a family that is searching for answers about one of their members after the 9/11 attacks. They believe he was inside the towers and that he was killed, but they can’t find answers. It sees one travel from Mexico to learn the truth in the hope of setting his family to ease.

This is a powerful drama that gets to show some of the voiceless victims of the tragic terrorist attacks. While many would have been known to be in and around the towers. It is the people that weren’t registered and their families that suffered in a different way. We get to see how one family looks to find answers and learns what life is like on the other side of the border. The performances are brilliant in this movie and the story will tug on the heartstrings.

Final ThoughtsWindows on the World is a powerful movie that plays into the emotions.
