The Zapotec people of Oaxaca, Mexico have a weaving tradition that is seventeen centuries old. When Conquistadors introduced sheep and looms, the process and materials changed but the intrinsic bold geometry and natural-hewn colours carried on to the present day. The Oaxacan duffle is created by using hand-loomed wool rugs which are strengthened by leather panels. The duffle is a decent size at 22" x 13-1/2" x 9-1/4" and includes a removable / adjustable cross body strap. It also comes with two Chambray eco-pillows. Each duffle will be unique as the prints vary from bag to bag.
