Wildflower Bay Part 3 by @karamina

By Pamelascott

Finn MacArthur has a reputation on Auchenmor, the small rural island where he's lived his whole life: as a friendly lad, a talented sculptor and always a hit with the ladies. But few people know the real story of his past and the secrets he has yet to make peace with...

Now that Isla's run at the island hairdressing salon is coming to an end, it's time to face reality and look for a job back on the mainland. But the island has come to mean so much more than she ever thought possible: she's made good friends, a home from home, and there's an undeniable connection with Finn. Will she be able to say goodbye?

I enjoyed this part the most and found it more satisfying, overall, than parts 1 and 2. Isla really comes into her own here. She blossoms and becomes very different than the cynical, uppity bitch she was when she arrived on the island. Finn also turns out to be a pretty decent person. Until this point he's painted as a bit of a womaniser. You get to see another side to Finn in part 3. The book ends where I hoped it would and is thoroughly satisfying.
