Wilder Pictures: The People of Tennessee and Kentucky

The landscapes down South were green and lush. The sky was huge, stretching out over expanses of fields and rollings hills, and the roads were long and winding. I was in heaven, snapping the shutter as we passed gas stations and ghost barns in Tennessee and Kentucky about a month ago. But while I found the views out the window breathtaking and photo-worthy, the people were far more colorful—both in outfits and character (photos after the jump)
I took these photos for The Wilder Things at a festival I attended for work, when I snuck away from our booth for a few minutes and wandered around. Except for the PARK HERE photo, which is from downtown Nashville, and the last one, which I took at The Springwater, the dive bar of my dreams. If only you could've heard that blues band...
