Story: Wild Horses starts when a Texas Ranger Samantha Payne (Ledraza) gets asked to look into a cold case of a missing person. The missing person does have a connection to highly respected ranger Scott Briggs (Duvall) and his family Ben (Franco) and KC (Hartnett).

As Samantha starts to look deeper into the case, she starts to see the bigger picture going on, as the Briggs family look to sort out their own affairs.

Thoughts on Wild Horses

ThoughtsWild Horses is a crime thriller that will see a person in power using this power to cover up a crime he has committed, as his past will slowly start to catch up with him, as a new ranger starts to dig deeper. The story does feel like it doesn’t want to get into the deeper side of the story, leaving most of the film happy to accept, it was normal behaviour, only to leave us with one of the flattest conclusion in any crime thriller in years, it is on the level of it feeling like that will do as the story, rather than it actually being the truth. The performances feel flat too, where only Luciana Pedraza stands out in the film.

Final Thoughts Wild Horses is a flat thriller that never gets the resolution it should have.
