My husband has always been a dog lover and once we got married we adopted our first dog (Katie) from the pound. I personally had to get used to living with dogs because I was more of a cat person growing up. When my sister in law had a litter of puppies a few weeks before my son’s first birthday, my husband was set on bringing home another puppy. I have to admit that I wasn’t too thrilled and didn’t want to deal with potty training. Not to mention the chewing phase that dogs go through for the first year or so of their lives. Of course, even though I didn’t want the additional dog he has been a life saver since I got laid off. The more I spent time with him the more I grew attached to Rhino. He would follow me around and sit next to me where ever I ended up. Rhino has been instrumental and its like he knows when I am not feeling very good. He will come and lay next to me or give me love. He opened my heart and I ended up talking my husband into a third dog.

Buddy has also grown attached to me since I am home all day long. He loves to sit next to me, play, and will give me love when he knows that I don’t feel good.
