Why Should Pinoys Bother with Science?

Natural disasters cannot be avoided; just like what happened recently at Tacloban when Yolanda or also known as Haiyan Internationally. Many people died and so are injured, it's really sad yet we can't do anything to avoid the catastrophe. That only proves that Pinoys should bother with Science! We have to be prepared in case something like this will happen again. We should understand every terms used by the reporters and newspaper writers while announcing an upcoming disastrous event.
Enough reason why you should attend an open discussion with the public with guest scientist including those from Philvolcs, Pagasa & Manila Observatory. Why Should Pinoys Bother with Science will be held at Canopy Plaza, The Mind Museum on November 30, 2013, 4:00pm.
