Everyday you all (including me) see many cases of breakups, divorces lining up the columns of newspapers. Even the number of divorces has increased as compared to marriages in past decade. Several studies have been conducted with lots of reasons to blame either the guy or the girl, but the fact remains as what it is.
After a very meticulous thought over the issue of dying relationships, including my observations and experiences, I came across many reasons behind the same as to what are the most crucial contributing factors leading to the breakups among several couples. Read on to know more:
Reason #1: Lack of time
The first and the foremost reason I list is the lack of time. Present state of work pressures are to be blamed. Every one is busy with themselves so much that they are not able t give time to their partners. In a day there are 24 hours, out of which 12 to 14 hours are spent on working to earn the living (including the travel time). Remaining 10 to 12 hours are very much less as one also needs minimum 6 hours of sleep in order to stay healthy and to concentrate on their work. Remaining time is lost primarily due to different work schedules of either the male partner or the female partner.
Reason #2: Not so social culture
In this era of social networking via high end technology, no doubt people are becoming social more, but virtually. In real life, if you look at the actual scenario, the person is almost alone or end up with quite a few to stand by on his side in time of actual need as compared to 100s or even 1000s of friends on social networking. It also contributes to the above reason as all try to stay in touch via Facebook, Twitter etc. and not in reality. I remember still that a friend created an event on FB inviting all his friends on his marriage. I was so stunned as marriage is something that is a very big event of your life. Instead of calling up is friends or distributing wedding cards, he created an event. I doubt whether he will ever remember who would turn up on his wedding without even knowing him that well!
Reason #3: Envy
This comes into play at an early age. The jealousy, the resentment is obvious. We all long for luxury items in life. The craving for not so needed things in very much fast paced life has led many to commit severe actions against their will. Seeing same things as what one desire in someone's else hands leads them to either commit crimes to get that thing for themselves or to start extremely hard work to get that with the former one becoming predominant nowadays. Due to this, the ego clashes start to happen. The best example I can give is when both the husband and wife are working, the one who is earning more is dominant on the other or in some cases dominate the other which gradually becomes intolerable by him/her.
Reason #4: Patience is dying
In this fast paced world, everyone wants his/her piece of cake delivered first. From delivery of Pizza to raise in income, the longing becomes so intense that if it doesn't comes within a limited time frame, people get frustrated, irritated to get things done even before the time that is intended for it. Because of this reason, the resistance period is getting lower and lower with a time when it drops to ground zero. This can be very well quoted by the many cases as examples where the teenage kids killing their parents or grandparents for not giving money or for their high demands which remain unfulfilled.
The other issues like improper tuning of couples, marriage by chance (not by choice) etc. are also behind such incidents but they are somewhat personal one as compared to the above quoted ones. If people try to control their urge for not so necessary perishable items, things will automatically start falling in place again.
