Why Has Frito Lay Never Mixed Cool Ranch And Nacho Cheese Doritos In The Same Bag?

Last Friday I was in desperate need of some lunch and decided on a local sandwich shop.  My concern quickly turned to what chips were accompanying my sandwich.  The finalists were the only two ever really in question, Cool Ranch Doritos or Nacho Cheese Doritos. Then I had a brain explosion.  Why hasn’t Frito Lay mashed these two dynasties in the chip world together in the same bag?  I can never really decide which chip I really want but ultimately leave one on the shelf.  This would be one of the greatest power moves a company could ever do, right?  No longer would you have to wonder what could have been.  Now you could have the best of both worlds together, chip for chip.  I couldn’t leave it alone, even asking my lady friend why this hadn’t happened yet.

And the sad thing is that I haven’t really stopped thinking about it.  Like, I think I need to write to Frito Lay and pursue this further.  The funny thing is that I worked at Frito Lay for 3 years!  Smashed every chip they ever made and this never came to mind.  Never once did I think what could happen.  While they were debuting new flavors they should have just been mashing up their two best products!  And look, I get it, you can do that right now if you want but that involves buying two bags of chips and that’s just not nearly as amazing as being able to pick up a bag that is half red/ half blue and full of deliciousness.

I’m 100% confident I just thought up a billion dollar idea right here on this blog.  There’s just no way this isn’t pure gold.

And if you didn’t think I was going all Microsoft Paint on yo ass, well then you’re batshit crazy!

Even ended up with a bad ass name for the bag of chips as well…”Cool Cheese!”  Cool Cheese FTW!

P.S. I’ve never felt more like a BAWSE then I do right now, as I type this.

P.P.S.  I have little to no idea if this has ever been attempted by Frito Lay and I don’t even care.  So money right now!
