When you make the decision to eat whole wheat breads, you’re getting a mashed up, ground down version of wheat grain. It includes the bran, germ and endosperm, but everything is ground together to create a flour. The flour is then turned into bread.
So, which is better for you and your weight loss goals? The truth is, they’re both pretty good for you. Both are nutritious. Both are filling. Both can taste great. And both are definitely a whole lot better for you than white bread, which is pretty much all carbs and very little nutritional value.
In short, you can’t go wrong with either whole grain or wheat. But, if you are serious about reaching your weight loss goals, you’re probably better served making the decision to eat whole grain breads.

And of course there are those who maintain that whole grain breads taste better than whole wheat breads.
