The infographic takes a look at who actually owns vacation homes in the Hamptons. With 42%, New Yorkers are the first on the list of Hamptons vacation home owners. Out of the 42%, 35% are Manhattan residents. New York City is followed by the New York State counties of Suffolk, Nassau and Westchester in home ownership in this area.
However, other states besides New York have owners in the Hamptons as well. More specifically, New Jersey, Florida, Connecticut and California are the first 4. Also, almost 100 Hamptons vacation homes are owned by foreigners. Among them, British owners with 75% are the most prominent.
