I love nothing more than throwing together an outfit within the same color scheme and just going with it. To me, this look works so well and I promise you the only thought behind it was keeping it monochromatic.
I snagged this oversized coat after binge watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (highly recommend if you have not watched). I was so inspired by all of her coats, I just had to add a *new* one to my closet. I loved this coat online but when I finally saw it in person, I loved it even more. To keep this look ladylike and simple I grabbed a simple Tibi midi skirt and one of my FAVORITE white tee shirts (size up…I’m wearing a large and I normally wear a small). A white bag and a pair of neutral pumps later, I really feel like this look came together.
With or without this marvelous coat (pun intended), this look is a personal favorite. To me there is nothing prettier than a well executed monochromatic outfit.
