Truffles are made with either semi sweet chocolate or dark chocolate or white chocolate.The recipe is named after truffle,which is an ingredient used in Italian cuisine.I already shared three chocolate truffles recipe,one with walnuts and another one is classic chocolate truffles made with cream,with nutella too.

I made this recipe in accordance with the taste from ferrero rafeallo,which is one of my favorites.Everyone loves it,right?Craving for that one,so thought of buying that one day.Suddenly got an idea to make it in home and i immediately bought the ingredients and made it and served for V as an evening snack.It will keep up for a week when properly stored in refrigerator.You can also make plain truffles and roll it in coconut and serve like classic recipe.I did this recipe by adding dessicated coconut in the white chocolate ganache itself and made this into truffles.

Use good quality white chocolate for making these truffles.This was in my to do list for years and made two months back and V enjoyed a lot and he asked for more.Again am going to make this for giving edible gifts to neighbors.This is the wonderful recipe to experiment with and you can go with so many variations.You need just two ingredients for making this recipe,white chocolate and a flavored ingredient along with either cream or whole milk for the recipe.lets move on making.,

Ingredients

  • white chocolate - 100 gm
  • coconut powder or dessicated coconut - as needed
  • cream - 2 tablespoons
  • vanilla essence - 2 drops
Instructions
  1. Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler with cream.Once it get completely melted,remove from the boiler.Add vanilla essence and mix it well.
  2. Then add the dessicated coconut and make a dough from it.From that make small balls and then again roll it in the coconut.
  3. Repeat the process till the dough finishes.Refrigerate the truffles for few minutes and then serve.
