Where To Shop Online?

By Dressmeupbuttercup @hazelsalcedo

For the homebodies and anti-mall rats in you, I’ve listed down my trusted local e-commerce websites so you can do your holiday gift-shopping hassle-free and in the comforts of your own home and pajamas. Shopping online also saves you from long queues at the counter, traffic jam, and worrying about parking space!

Let’s begin!

  1. ZALORA - I’ve made a number of transactions from them already in the past, all were successful ones. They used to offer free delivery back when they were just starting out. But now you have to reach a certain amount for your orders to qualify free shipping, otherwise you have to pay a standard rate. What I love about Zalora is the COD or cash on delivery payment scheme. And I always receive my package a day after I pay! They carry products for women, men and kids.
  2. Taste Central - It is the official retail partner of the group buying site Deal Grocer. Just like DG, it offers curated brands and products for the discerning shoppers. Brands that are exclusive to them, such as Shu Uemura, are available at discounted prices. I’m also quite impressed with their service, I got my orders a day after I paid in the bank. I checked recently and they offer FREE shipping this holiday season, no minimum purchase required! Ohh great, I would love to hoard on some Biscoff spreads!
  3. Lazada - I bought once from Lazada before and got my package a bit late (4 days after placing my order). But I do like the variety of the products they offer. Aside from women, men and kids item, they have massive gadgets, entertainment, and home products to choose from.
  4. Digital Traincase - For authentic makeup at affordable prices, DT is the place to go! I used to buy various NYX products from them back when NYX Philippines wasn’t officially distributed here yet. Transacting with them was always smooth. It’s been a while since I last ordered from them though and I hope they restock some of their items soon.
  5. The Makeup Haul - Another online makeup shop I encountered and made successful purchase is this. They have on-hand items (as well as pre-order ones) for brands not yet available locally such as Beauty UK, Sigma, Models Own, Me Me Me, Lime Crime. They used to sell via Multiply but now they do solely via Facebook when Multiply closed down this year.

So there you have my top 5! Can you add more to the list?
