When Mac Met Cheese… They Fell In Love in Camden

By Srazzi @srazzi

On a sunny day in London there is no denying that Camden market is one of the best places to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. I can recommend taking a seat by the canal and watching the world go by. When hunger strikes you are absolutely spoiled for choice but choose carefully because not all of the stalls deliver what they promise.

All of my friends know that I love Mac and cheese, so I might be biased when I say, head straight to “When Mac Met Cheese” and pick up some of the yummiest street food in Camden.

Just after crossing the canal turn left and walk in to the all of the temporary food stalls and there you will find a man in a blue apron individually making up portions of mac and cheese to your specification. He even does one with stilton! YUM! The mac and cheese is perfectly gooey and is made fresh to order with your choice of cheeses and added extras. I don’t think I can explain the yummyness you have to go down there and try it for yourself, but be warned they sometimes sell out , so get there early because you don’t want to be disappointed.

As well as the scrummy mac and cheese the stall offers up deep fried oreos, which admittedly I have never had but they look pretty darn good, and you can add them to your order with a drink for just 2 pound extra. Yes! That is only £7 British pounds for mac and cheese, oreos and a drink… one word BARGAIN!

So if your down in Camden next weekend get your ass to When Mac Met Cheese and I promise you won’t be left with a bad taste in your mouth.
