When Life Gives You Lemons Or Whatever.

By Marensmorsels @marentweets

Hey guys! You are all too sweet. My inbox was flooded with worried Where are you?! e-mails  yesterday. I knew by the fifth one that I needed to get a post up as quick as possible. I didn’t want anyone sending out a Mission Persons report.

See… ALIVE!

So what’s been going on? Well, I had a really unexpected job opportunity pop up last week and I spent most of Thursday at an interview. Then Max and I left early Friday morning (like 5am early) for Tahoe to do a little Max-family get-together. So Thursday to Sunday I was without internet. Then yesterday I felt pretty sick from being away from home and eating new foods so I spend the day on the sofa trying to recover.

I don’t even know what pictures are on my SD card so I’m just putting them up in the order they come up in.

I’m so bad at making decisions. I feel like either way I’m saying no to someone, which I am. I don’t like letting people down. I’m also not a huge fan of change. Change totally freaks me out because it’s unknown and scary.

I guess even though I’m tall (5 foot 10) when decisions pop up and change might happen I feel like a little Chihuahua dog and get all shaky/barky/growly because I feel like I might be getting attacked. Then I crawl into a really small-dark space and take a huge nap.

The title of this post is focused on making lemonade when you get lemons… I really hate this phrase because I don’t like lemonade. Sometimes I just want to wallow with my lemons!!!

Anyways I do design work for my little design business at both my work computer and my home computer. It’s great and I use DropBox to transport my files. Well this morning I realized that Dropbox lost all my design files so everything I’d done/was working on is lost. I have to make everything over again from scratch. GAH!!!

This on top of being overwhelmed about new jobs is just like… really?!?!

Maybe I’d like lemonade better if it were mixed with a little vodka and had an umbrella in it?

Everything get’s better when it’s got an umbrella hanging out of it. Oh and let’s make it strawberry lemonade so it’s pink!!!

Pink Lemonade with Umbrella = Crisis averted!

Looking at all these pictures I think you got breakfast 2-3 times, lunch twice, some snacks and a lot of dark chocolate!

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH UNEXPECETD DECISIONS, SAYING “NO” TO PEOPLE, & POSSIBLE CHANGE??

I need to learn from all of you how to be a normal person and deal!
