What Will Pantone Color of the Year 2014 Be?

I’m not sure when or how the whole Pantone Color of the Year came to be so popular but there is now a lot of hoopla around it. In fact, Leatrice Eismann, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, just announced on Facebook that she is preparing to travel to New York as we speak to get ready to make the official announcement.

Fashionistas and color-mavens everywhere are waiting with baited breath to know just what color will be the star of the new year.   Being a lover of color I’m incredibly curious, I admit.  I don’t know why, but I’m thinking a bright, jewel-toned purple, or maybe a sunny yellow.
