What We Loved on Oscars 2014 Red Carpet

By Fashion Addicted Foodies @fashionfoodi

The 2014 Award Season came to an end with the Oscars last Sunday night. There was an overwhelming amount of glitz and glamour on the Oscars Red Carpet. Stunning solid color gowns, sparkling statement jewellery and even a headband were spotted. As throughout this whole Awards Season the spotlight belonged to the ever-so-gorgeous Lupita Nyong’o, but the always über-stylish and classy Cate Blanchett came as the close second.

Here are our favorite dresses (and suits) from the OSCARS 2014 Red Carpet:

Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years A Slave) said that she chose this light blue Prada gown because it reminded her of Nairobi. As usual she looked stunning.

Jennifer Lawrence (American Hustle) had chosen a gorgeous red Christian Dior gown for the Oscars 2014 Red Carpet.

Kate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine) made heads turn by wearing an embellished Armani Privé chiffon gown and Chopard earrings to die for.

I absolutely love Amy Adams’ (American Hustle) navy Gucci gown. So stylish!

Naomi Watts looked dreamy in a white Calvin Klein Collection dress completed with a statement necklace.

Idina Menzel (Frozen) looked gorgeous in green Vera Wang accessorised with another statement necklace.

Kristen Bell’s (Frozen) dusky pink gown was by Roberto Cavalli.

Sandra Bullock (Gravity) looked flawless in a navy Alexander McQueen dress.

Kate Hudson oozed old Hollywood glamour in a caped Versace gown.

The best dressed couples of the Oscars 2014:
Olivia Wilde (Her) avec the baby bump in Valentino with her fiancée Jason Sudeikis in Prada.
Angelina Jolie in a gold Elie Saab and Brad Pitt (12 Years A Slave) in Tom Ford.

Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) in Dolce & Gabbana and his wife Camila Alves in a caped Gabriela Cadena dress.
John Legend and Chrissy Tiegen in a Monique Lhuillier gown were as stylish as always.

Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) let his hair down and charmed his way through the Oscars 2014 Red Carpet in a flawless Saint Laurent suit. The man-bun was absent, but we did not care.

Leonardo DiCaprio (Wolf of Wall Street) in Armani caused a bit of heart flutter as always.

Bradley Cooper (American Hustle) in Tom Ford. Not sure about the facial hair, but still love Bradley.

Benedict ‘Sherlock’ Cumberbatch (12 Years A Slave) looked dapper all suited and booted.
