What to Do and See at BBC Good Food Show Winter 2015 Birmingham!

By Thefoodiecoupleblog

It’s nearly November again and to me that means just one thing. MY BIRTHDAY!  The Winter BBC Good Food Show at the NEC Birmingham!  Well, it is my birthday month too,  but that’s not really the reason why I’m writing this post!. The Winter Show is always a favorite of mine, and I love visiting and picking up lots of treats for Christmas, presents for others, catching up with some of my blogger friends  and spying some of my favorite celebrity chefs!

Have a read of some of my previous experiences of the show – Summer 2015, Winter 2014, Winter 2013 and my Top Tips!

Nearer the time I’ll be bring you a twitter competition to win a pair of tickets to the show and telling you a little more about the fabulous producers you can see at the show and all the yumminess you can nibble on and buy to take home, but for now, to whet your appetite, these are the great things you can do and see at the show this year!

THE SUPERTHEATRE

The eve popular supertheatre is back for another year and this Winter you can see the likes of Michel Roux Jr, Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry, Tom Kerridge, The Hairy Bikers and of course the loveable James Martin. Check here for the full timetable.

INTERVIEWS & BOOK SIGNINGS

There will plenty of chances to spot Glynn Purnell your favorite chef on the day you visit and why not watch them being interviewed or grab yourself a cookbook and get it signed! (I’m not a stalker, promise, but I do tend to ‘follow’ Birminghams own Yummy Brummie Glynn Purnell around the show sometimes…)

THE AO WINTER KITCHEN STAGE

If you’re after something a little smaller than the supertheatre, the winter kitchen stage will have lots of live demos from some Michelin superstars including Atul Kochar, Theo Randall, Galton Blackiston and also bang on trend some ‘Eat Well’ Demos from Lorraine Pascale and the Hemsley sisters.

DEMOS GALORE!

Even more fantastic live cooking demonstrations will take place on the Stoves Live Cook Stage and the Bakes and Cakes Stage with some Bake of favourites, Brian Turner and many more.

It’s the largest cheese competition on the planet! Visitors can watch the judging take place on the first day of the Show, or join one of the tutored tours across the weekend to sample and discover more about the world’s best cheeses
