Christmas is almost upon us and if you are one of the lucky people who has completed their gift buying (or not bothered getting any) then here’s some activities to fill your weekend.
We are very excited about the pop up screens appearing around Brick Lane for the festive period. Our favorite film on the schedule has to be Gremlins, showing on Saturday night.
Ice rinks seem to be all the rage and dozens have popped up for the festive season around the capital. If whizzing around at deadly speeds with lethal blades attached to your feet is the kind of thing you like, check out Somerset House this weekend.
If you want to see the first part of Peter Jackson’s Hobbit trilogy in all it’s glory Swiss Cottage Odeon is showing the film both in IMAX and HFR (high frame rate) on the same screen. If you want to experience the film properly, Swiss Cottage has only one of two screens in the country boasting IMAX 3d HFR (a bit of a mouthful). Be sure to book early.
If you have an event you would like us to include drop us a line at thegreatpubdebate@gmail.com.
