What's Inside: October Birchbox

By Abrunetteinthecity

I received my October Birchbox a few days ago and boy was I excited with what I found inside! I may or may not have actually gasped when I saw a shiny blue box staring back at me!
First up is Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and the Pure Muslim Cloth. The cleanser is used as a "two-step ritual to purify and exfoliate" best used with the muslim cloth by massaging into skin.
This chapstick is clinically proven to hydrate for 8 hours while giving lips a fuller and smoother appearance while working as a lip primer. I am a chapstick junkie so I would love to give this a go and see how often I need to reapply...assuming I don't misplace it!
And lastly is the Pop Beauty Aqua Lacquer gloss that claims to "plump and hydrated with jojoba oil." And the Alison Raffaele Reality Base Foundation, which is an "oil-free, weightless coverage that improves skin thanks to a patented antioxidant cocktail."
All in all, I'm very happy with this month's Birchbox. The Liz Earle products would have been enough for me as I'm so pleased to finally give them a go! And you can never, ever go wrong with extra chapstick on hand! I'm usually quite particular with the textures of lipglosses so I'm interested in giving this a go as the shade is very pretty. And I'd love to see if these claims are true, who doesn't want a plump and hydrated pucker?! As for the foundation, I'm wearing about switching up foundations as I love my current choice at the moment. But I am curious about "a patented antioxidant cocktail" that claims to improve skin.
