I knew Paul Walker died leaving a fundraising event for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, but I didn't realize he had been doing it for so long and at this scale.
While a lot of celebrities do awesome charitable work--George Clooney, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, and a few others started an NGO called "Not On Our Watch" for instance--Paul Walker's contribution is still not something to scoff at. Celebrities' help in the global community is certainly hardly, if at all, publicized, and for obviously the right reason. More people should be like him, and although Biebs' recent trip to the Philippines is something to be applauded, it's the anonymous-yet-powerful people of the world (and even commoners like you and me) we must look up to.
Let us all do charity for the right reasons, everybody.
