One of the things I've realized is that I have a really bad habit of starting a lot of different projects and finishing none of them. Needless to say, the "before and after" posts on this blog have been few and far between. There was my home office makeover that I did manage to start and finish and my master bedroom makeover (which is on the list to get redone again), but there are still a lot of unfinished projects (kitchen, half bathroom, guest bedroom, living room, den, dining room). And of course, there are still those rooms I've yet to start work on (2nd guest bedroom, guest bathroom, sunroom, exterior).
Rather than make you wait months and months to see some more "after" photos, I figured I'd do a little version of show and tell. Starting next week, I'll pick a room in my house and share the good, the bad, and the ugly as well as all the fun ideas I have stored up in my head. You can even weigh in and let me know if you think those ideas are a bad idea (I may or may not listen :)).
This is going to be really scary for me - like that first day by the pool in FL wearing my bathing suit sans tan.
Hopefully this will inspire you all to share pictures of your own homes even if they're not looking "perfect." I've realized that my pursuit for home perfection will be life long. There will always be things I want to change or improve, but in the meantime I want to try and be more thankful for my beautiful home and proud of what I've accomplished so far. Who's with me?
