What It Means To Be Around 4 Years

Posted on the 18 December 2014 by Kaminomi @OrganizationASG

Organization Anti-Social Geniuses started December 18, 2010. I was a Junior in college, and had the bright idea to start this thing. At the time I had no idea what I wanted to actually write about, how often I would post, and what me and LC had in store for the site. I also didn’t know how long I’d spend on the blog too. Either way, I obviously never thought about what I’d do in 2014, so yep, it’s been around a long while.

…And yes, I spent a good majority of those 4 years figuring out what the heck I want to write about. I think I figured it out in a year and half.

So yes, managing to motivate myself and having other writers carry the load has been fun. But along the way, I think I found something I’d like to focus on more, and I expect 2015 to reflect that attitude. Well, maybe. Either way, there will be some changes. Yes, I am actually still taking writer applications (heh, looks like finding someone who wants to do features is not so easy!) , and you’ll still see some familiar content. You’ll also see some new ones, and one I’m particularly stoked about and hope it does well. Let’s just say I also will try and make my convention presence at bit more…noticeable this year.

Now the only thing that I’ll have to deal with is time. As I learned this year, work is work. That means I can’t waste much time. So let’s just say 2014 has made me learn that I have to take my time seriously.

Anyways, the year isn’t over yet. Still got some more 12 Days of Anime posts, then anime series we liked in 2014, and Secret Santa. Should be pretty crazy next week. But needless to say, I can’t wait until 2015, and I hope you’ll join us next year!
