What is Scleroderma? Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

A scleroderma is a group of diseases. The cure for this has not been discovered yet. Scleroderma affects the body’s healthy tissue. Because of this, the skin starts to harden. According to doctors, this disease is more in the age of 30 to 50 years. Scleroderma affects women more. Causes and treatment of scleroderma have not been discovered yet.

It is an incurable disease, which affects the healthy tissue of the body, due to which the part of the skin starts to harden, this is the first symptom of this disease.

In this disease, too much collagen starts forming, which affects the joints and inner parts of the body and makes them weak.

Gradually, fingers and toes begin to turn white in winter, which later becomes stiff.

One type of scleroderma is ‘systemic sclerosis’, in which it affects the internal organs of the body, especially the lungs.

The disease derives its name from the Greek words sclero and derma, which means hardened skin.

This disease occurs 4 times more in women than in men.

What is Scleroderma?

If we go to the meaning of words, then it is made up of two words. Sclero and Derma, which means hardened skin. You can also call it hard-skinned. In this disease, the skin of a person becomes hard. Some people also have shiny skin.

Scleroderma disease occurs 4 times more in women than men. This is considered to be the worst skin disease. There is easy identification of this disease, some part of the skin starts to harden. It affects both the outer and inner skin of the body.

Causes of scleroderma

The cause of this disease is not yet ascertained. For this reason, no cure for scleroderma has been discovered. However, scientists believe that this disease is an autoimmune disease.

In a way, we can also say that this happens when the immune system of a person’s body starts working against him.

Symptoms

A person with scleroderma disease feels very tired. Doctors advise the person suffering from this disease to change the place in a short time. Because blood circulation in the body slows down. The symptoms of this disease vary according to its type.

Main types of scleroderma

There are mainly two types of scleroderma. The first is localized scleroderma when it is in limited places. At the same time, when it spreads to many parts of the body, it is called systemic scleroderma.

Localized scleroderma

In limited or localized scleroderma, the disease affects the upper and lower cells of the skin. In localized scleroderma, there is also a risk of eye disease uveitis. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of arthritis in localized scleroderma.

Systemic scleroderma

When someone has systemic scleroderma disease, it affects both inside and outside the body. In systemic scleroderma, besides the top surface of the skin, the skin inside the windpipe and the esophagus are also affected. Due to this, a person may have trouble eating and breathing.

The life of a person suffering from systemic scleroderma is very painful. However, due to awareness and proper management, its problems can be reduced slightly.

Treatment of Scleroderma

The cure for scleroderma has not been discovered yet. The main reason for not having scleroderma treatment is that the cause of its occurrence has not been known. So far, scleroderma is treated only by taking the necessary precautions after knowing its symptoms

Ayurvedic Treatment for Scleroderma

1. Detox Premium Powder
