What I Wore: Winter Transition

The last time you saw this jumper was in this post, but that was not the last time I've worn it. When the weather gold colder, I switched out my short sleeve off the shoulder striped top for a long-sleeved striped tee, and when winter hit, I switched to tights and this cashmere turtleneck. I was psyched to see that Gwynnie Bee now carries this jumper, so you can rent it or try before you buy from Gwynnie Bee. So anyway, back to this look. I wore this to the National Harbor in Maryland. My birthday was Saturday and the AC Hotel was kind enough to host us for an overnight date night, just me and Karl (thanks to my mom for watching Emerson and my sister for watching our dog Cindy!). The next day we walked around National Harbor to see the sights and grab lunch and I wore this look.

I didn't use this bag much over the holidays, but I'm back to loving it and loving how it goes with so many outfits. There's something freeing about a bag that is neither black nor brown with hardware that is neither silver nor gold. It's big enough to carry the essentials (small makeup bag, sunglasses case, big-ass wallet, phone, cell charger, and various other randomness) and looks good on the shoulder or cross the body. It's not my first Rebecca Minkoff bag and likely will not be my last - I love the style and function of her line!
