I know it's been a lot of Gwynnie Bee in the past few days, I swear I'll take a break soon but it's hard because what I've received has been so darn good. If you follow my InstaStories (because why aren't you? They're fun!) you know I got an phenomenal eShakti dress also from Gwynnie Bee and I will show it soon here, but give a bit go a GB breather. But this coat is so pretty - I love the color, the fuzzy texture, the buttons, and the super cool folded detail at the collar. But this isn't a coat I'd buy. It's not heavy enough for DC winters, it's one that looks good with only certain lengths and styles of dresses and pants, it's not practical. But it is super fun to get from Gwynnie Bee, wear a few times, feel super sassy, and then send back when the temps get too cold.
Speaking of InstaStories, I shared that last Thursday I decided to get bangs. These photos were taken after a long day, a windy day, and only the first day after washing my hair that I tried styling my new 'do and with just the products I currently had in my medicine cabinet. I like it, it's very messy beachy oh I'm too busy to mess with my hair I just look effortlessly chic. And that Is NOT what I am, so it's fun to play one with this haircut! I'm all about trying new things lately, getting out of my comfort zone to feel, even if it's remorse. Small steps like switching up my nail color or getting bangs have been great ways to dip my toes into it. I believe in having a defined personal style and knowing what you love, but we change over time with age and life experiences. Quick steps outside the norm can help confirm your style or help redefine it as you redefine yourself!
