This dress from CityChic is so versatile. The fabric can dress up or down with ease. When I first saw it, I thought it would be cute with simple black pumps with a slim heel. Then when I had it, I thought how the fabric and shape would work year-round and look adorable in the summer months with a strappy heel. But for the holidays, it's time to don our gay apparel and go sparkly!

When Nordstrom asked me to share their extensive shoe collection this month, I decided it had to be a shoe full of sparkly holiday spirit, but also comfortable enough to wear all night long. When I saw these shoes by J. Renee I was psyched. Plenty of sparkle and they don't shed glitter when you walk (or scratch your skin). But the low heel gives flattering height but plenty of comfort for walking all day or dancing all evening. It comes in widths, and is shaped so it can easily accommodate insoles or even a no-show pair of peds like these. While I paired them with an evening dress, this is the kind of style that would look cute peeking out of trousers, paired with ankle pants, worn with a shorter or longer skirt or dress. I may wear them to my company's holiday happy hour with a red sweater and black trousers. With free shipping, free returns, a variety of widths and tons of customer reviews, Nordstrom honestly is my favorite online shoe store.
