What Does Your Timeline Look Like?

By Lisa @Lisapatb
If you are on Facebook you must have heard about the new Timelines. I finally had a few extra minutes to do my Facebook timeline. Facebook really makes it pretty simple.

I started here  ---------> You must click on this link to get the video to show you and the app to start your timeline. You don't have to finish it all at once and Facebook will give you a week before it publish's it on its own if you do not hit the publish button yourself.
It's a good idea to have some photos ready to upload for your cover photo. I had trouble with this one at first. You have to scroll over it and near the right hand side bottom it will pop up and let you change it; you can upload your own photo or find other photos on Facebook that you posted. That took me a while to figure out.
The other pieces are jobs, family and dates. Facebook already knows your birthday and graduation dates. You may add photos along the way to those too if you want.  Another tricky piece for me was the job area. I have 2 so it takes the latest one and uses it on top vs. your current job that you started earlier. I could not find a way to change it. You can fill in descriptions in your job area or leave them blank.
I want to thank my dear friend Anna for encouraging me to get it up as well as Tim who I learned after that we went to high school together - we had met over on Twitter. What a small world!
Have you done your Facebook timeline yet? What are you waiting for?
