What Do You Mean the Weekend is Over?!

By Melissak

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and if you’re celebrating Halloween have an outfit ready.  Its not a big deal if you don’t, you can always go as a ghost.

This weekend was filled with fun (went on a hike that felt like I would never go down ever again), did lots of little projects around the house and had coffee at this wonderful nursery tea garden that’s got cats everywhere.  So without further ado I bring to you. PHOTOS!

DIY Halloween decorations.  This little ghost garland is extremely easy to make.  All you need to do is cut out some ghost shapes, make little eyes and stick them on a piece of string, easy as can be! You have yourself an adorable decorations.  Will be great to make with kids.

We got some indoor plants to liven the house up a little.

Look at this GIANT, yet beautiful zucchini flower.

More indoor plants.  This is a bunch of different flowers all in one big daddy of a pot.

I’m obsessed with this plant.  I love the leaves and how it makes the area under the stairs look like its got a use.

New art on the walls.

Walking in the mall.  I noticed this random set up.  Its a microscope to see the plants.

Delicious cinnamon polenta porridge.

Found this pile of rocks on our hike and you know we added some rocks to that pile.

The never ending uphill hike was worth it for such a beautiful view.

I love the pattern on this leaf.

Can you spot the chameleon?

That big pile of twigs is the black eagle nest.  False advertising, because I saw not even a baby eagle.

Mr lizard just soaking up the rays.

There was a bench here and a lot of the rocks had cell numbers and writing on it and all I kept thinking was….Who comes to a nature reserve with stationary?! Must be some sort of psycho.

Hope everyone survives Monday.
