Hey guys, it's been awhile, huh? I've been traveling a bit and spending some time with my family so reading and Read It, See It have been on the back burner for a bit. I love blogging and being part of the book blogging community, but it's not always my #1 priority and I don't always have time for it. I'm trying to figure out how to sneak it into my daily routine so that I don't get so far behind. After several weeks away, I feel like I need to make up for it all - and that gets a little overwhelming. Do you guys ever feel that way?
The holidays are coming up and my December calendar is already packed full. I'm looking forward to it though. This is the first holiday season in several years that we haven't been either moving or traveling. We're keeping it low key and simple and I couldn't be happier about that. The past year has been such a whir wind for me that I'm really focusing on slowing down and putting less pressure on myself - which means I'll probably be keeping a lightish posting schedule even into the new year. I'm working on a blogging schedule and aiming for 4 posts a week. I just don't have the time or desire to post 7 days a week (I admire the bloggers who can do it, but it's not realistic for me).
So what have I been reading?
