Wham! Burgers and Sausages REBRANDED

Time sure flies when you're having fun. That's what it feels for the successful Wham! Burgers enterprise when it turned 11 this year.

Starting a new page, Wham! Burgers now introduces an exciting new look and a revamped menu that aims to please the Filipino palate. From the burger patties to the buns, Wham! Burgers' offerings are now more filling in an attempt to beat the competition. The burgers and sausages are expected to "hit the spot on so many levels".

Artisan brioche buns contain 30% butter, helping each flavorful beef patty to shine through. Every burger patty are a mix of 80% lean and 20% fat and seasoned with salt and black pepper.

Other sausage sandwiches include Schublig with Cheese (P149), which features certified Swiss sausage made with beef, pork, non-fat milk, finely ground onion and creamy cheese; and the slow-grilled Beer Sausage (P149) which includes a savory sausage simmered in beer and onion.

VERDICT

Call me sentimental but I much prefer the old school Wham! Burgers. Don't get me wrong, though. Change is absolutely good. It's just that I've always loved how Wham! Burgers were just a tad rough around the edges--I found its simple, self-effacing image warm and comforting. Now the rebranded version just makes me look the other way. Although to be fair the burger patties taste the same: grade A awesome!
