I'll also include a brief description of the film, the main actors/actresses and director, whether or not I've seen it, and a Rotten Tomatoes/MetaCritic score for those who like that kind of thing. Finding Dory Director: Andrew Stanton Starring: Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O'Neil, Diane Keaton What It's About: Pixar's sequel to the smash hit Finding Nemo follows Dory as she attempts to find her family with the help of Marlin and Nemo. Abrams Starring: Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac What It's About: Set 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker has vanished and the First Order has risen from the ashes of the Galactic Empire. Resistance fighter Poe Dameron is tasked with finding a map that will lead to Luke. Kylo Ren a master of the Dark Side also pursues the map. Meanwhile a nascent Force user named Rey gets drawn into the Resistance with companion Finn, a Stormtrooper who abandons the First Order. It's up to these three and also the likes of Han Solo and Leia to destroy the First Order's newest superweapon-Starkiller Base. Have I Seen It: HELL YES. Read my review here! Rotten Tomatoes Score: Certified Fresh at 92% MetaCritic Score: 81 The Jungle Book Director: Jon Favreau Starring: Neil Sethi, Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Christopher Walken, Scarlett Johansson What It's About: A live action version of the classic Disney tale, when mancub Mowgli is abandoned in the jungle he's raised by the various animals that live there. However when the man hating fierce tiger Shere Khan returns to the jungle it's up to panther Bagheera and bear Baloo to help keep Mowgli safe. Have I Seen It: No. But Gfunk has. Read his review here! Rotten Tomatoes Score: Certified Fresh at 95% MetaCritic Score: 77 Game of Thrones The Complete Sixth Season Director: Various Starring: Kit Harrington, Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Alfie Allen, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau What It's About: Winter is coming. As Dany gathers her armies in Essos to conquer King's Landing she finds both friends and enemies. Cersei seeks to reclaim power...by any means necessary. Arya continues her training in the assassin arts with the Faceless Men. And the powers of the North will clash with the Bolton's who have claimed Winterfell for their own. Have I Seen It: Yes. Rotten Tomatoes Score: Fresh 94% MetaCritic Score: 80 The Beatles: Eight Days a Week-The Touring Years Director: Ron Howard Starring: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison What It's About: Director Ron Howard's documentary about the band that helped change rock and roll.
