Weekend Reading: What’s on My Bookshelf

By Imogenl @ImogenLamport

What's on my office bookshelf?

Recently I was fortunate to appear in The Builder's Wife sharing my favourite space - which is my office! Why not head over and check it out.

Apart from my amazing Julian Hakes Mojito shoes, there are lots of image related titles as well as business development books. Here is what I'm currently reading.

These days I don't have heaps of time to read, but I do like to get through a book or two. I like to keep up with some image and style related titles in hard copy format (I like to have them as a resource to show students or talk to clients.

Currently I'm reading:

and my next book will be:

Because I love the way Brenda writes and she is always inspiring.

But I listen to more books through my Audible app on my phone, when I'm driving, doing housework, the grocery shop, ironing, gardening, running and walking .... pretty much anywhere I can.

I'm keen on knowing more about how our brains work, the psychology of us as I think it's not only very related to what I do as an image consultant (it's all about who you are on the inside and also how you communicate), but also helpful (and I think fascinating) to understand more about the best ways to work (OK so apparently multi-tasking is not great and actually slows us down) and how to be a more effective communicator.

and have recently really enjoyed:

Since I've been listening to audiobooks through Audible I've managed to get more 'reading' done in the past few months than I had managed in the past years and I really love it which is why I wanted to let you know about this great offer from audible Try%20Audible%20and%20Get%20Two%20Free%20Audiobooks">where you can try it for free and get 2 free audiobooks of your choice.

What's on your bedside table?
