Weekend Brunch At Stella Barra

I have been loving exploring restaurants around the Montgomery County. Driving to D.C. and spending 30 minutes looking for parking or spending $30 for parking - neither sound like an ideal options. That's why 9 out of 10 times, husband and I choose to stay within a reasonable driving distance. stella barra has been our go-to-place pizza place with friends. We have visited the restaurants a couple of times in the past year and it has never disappointed. This time around, we were a party of four meeting for a weekend brunch.  The brunch menu offers $3 Mimosas or Bloody Mary's; brunch buffet consists of: hard boiled brown (farm) eggs, scrambled eggs, eggs Florentine, roasted beef hash w/ potatoes, roasted potatoes, chicken sausage, thick cut maple bacon, enchiladas, guacamole, sour cream, three types of sauce (verde, spicy and a mild one), waffles (made to order w/ fixings) fresh blueberries, and parfaits. There is more than enough food and all of it was served hot and fresh.
 
But the reason I love going here frequently is for their pizzas. stella barra is a creative pizzeria, with two, regular and roman-thin crusts, both of which are delicious. I would recommend the avocado and arugula pesto white pizza. stella's features a scratch kitchen with locally sourced ingredients. They are also very accommodating to any special dietary requirements (vegetarian in my case).
