Wedding Planners – Wedding Wednesday Tip – How to Be Prepared for Your Own Emergencies

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Here’s an easy-to-follow tip to help you have a successful wedding planning business.

~~~
Your business is new s0 you’re probably the one doing most of the work. However, it’s very important to have plans in place for someone to take over for you in case the unthinkable happens, you become ill or have a family emergency, and you can’t be present at a rehearsal or a wedding.
You should keep detailed notes of your meetings and conversations with brides and vendors, talk regularly with your team about upcoming events and make sure your bride and her vendors have met, or at least know of, your assistants. Your assistants, you should have at least one when you’re doing a “day of” or providing full service wedding planning, can then help and step into your place with minimal guidance. Also, keep your vendors up-to-date on changes so if you aren’t around on the wedding day, they can proceed with your directions and the wedding can come off without a hitch.
In order to have a successful business, you have to consistently provide excellent service so be sure you have plans in place to do so, even when you aren’t available in person.
