Wearing Suspenders Like Annie Hall

 Now that my style has taken a more simple turn, I sometimes struggle with creating an outfit and worrying it might look...boring. I was so used to piling on the layers and the patterns that sometimes a simple pair of bell bottoms and a polka dot knit just seems lazy. Which is exactly why I found myself in front of the bathroom mirror for a good ten minutes, twisting this way and that, trying to decide if I actually liked this look or not. "The colors are really pretty together", I tried to convince myself. "The gold clutch gives it a fun pop", I offered. But I knew something was...missing. 
And then, inspiration hit. If I was going to do wide bell bottoms, I might as well go all Annie Hall on the look. So I tip-toed into my brother's room, carefully checked if the coast was clear, and stole his suspenders! After snapping them on all I could think was "Better, muuuuch better. Let's go."
