It’s hard not to love Saltwater Sun’s debut single, “Habit on My Mind”. Unabashedly ripping guitar lines and shifting moods between the chorus and verses make the London-based five-piece’s track a lovable listen from start to finish. Mashing standard elements from various past eras and rock-centered genres, the group has created a solid, melodic tune that’s full in body and provoking in texture. The track dips into moments of delicacy only to burst into a surge of psychedelic-tinged indie rock that’s covered in a glossy finish. Hopefully we’ll be hearing from Saltwater Sun again very soon.
