It took the boys 4.5 days from Newport RI to Bermuda and 6.5 days from Bermuda to St Thomas USVI. The kids and I flew down last Sunday and they arrived about an hour before we landed, perfect timing! Only Carl was 5 minutes late to the airport and we already got a taxi. Bugga.
Of course Carl didn’t take any pictures of the trip so I’ll have to wait for Quinn and Peter to send me their pictures – those will posted when I get them.
So we have ARRIVED! We left 29F (-2C) degree Boston to a 90F (32C) degree boat. Hooly dooly were we sweating! I slept in a star position all night moaning about wanting air-conditioning. It only took a few hours after landing for me and the kids to get heat rashes, oh boy was it an adjustment. Now we are on our 2nd day here and had a fun packed beach day. Rashes have been replaced by bug bites.
