Hello everyone, I hope all is well with you. I’m back today after a week of work and writing. I’m working on the sequel to my story, and I found a way to improve it. So, that’s what I’ve been working on. Hubby and I went up north this weekend. It finally warmed up enough for us to get a hike in. The forest smelled wonderful. Our first hike of the new year together and wouldn’t you know it, I hit a root and twisted my ankle. So, I’m on the injured list until my ankle heals. Hopefully, it won’t be too long. But enough about that, today I want to talk about taking care of our planet.
We don’t have a Planet B. We don’t. Even if we were able to build a spaceship to take us all to Mars, it would take us years to turn that into a sustainable planet for us. So, the realistic thing to do is clean up our planet and save the bees.
Did you know that honeybees alone pollinate 80% of all flowering plants and one hundred and thirty fruits and vegetables? We need them. These tiny little workers who make our world a more beautiful place. So, let’s stop using pesticides that kill our pollinators. Let’s plant flowers to feed them.
The earth can provide all we need if we take care of it. We need the earth more than the earth needs us. In fact, if we disappeared, our planet would go on thriving. In fact, humans are the worst thing to happen to the earth. Like in the movie ‘The Matrix’ which states we are a virus.
So, lets make our imprint on our planet a positive one. Let’s clean up the oceans. Let’s get rid of the Great Garbage Patch. Let’s stop using so much plastic. We need to make the world a better place for the next generation. Let’s not leave behind a mess.
How about you? Do you have some ideas on how to clean up the planet? Leave a comment! I’d love to hear from you!
