By Djridings @fivethingsnow

Thank you to model and TV presenter Danielle Lloyd for sharing a few things with us.

What was your first break into celebrity? Is it something that you always wanted?

My first break was winning Miss England it was absolutely amazing! I felt so proud and it gave me so much confidence. I have never gone out to become a celebrity, I just followed my dreams to become a model and here I am.

What advice would you give to a school pupil that wants to be famous?

It’s not an easy life and it comes with lots of problems who which you hadn’t even thought of, so just be wary! You have to work very hard and you don’t get much privacy at all but there are of course, exciting perks too. You can’t choose when to be a celeb, sometimes when all you want is to be is on your own there are people taking your photo, it can be very invasive

Out of everything you have done in your career so far what has been the highlight? What’s next?

There have been lots of highlights of my career so far. I would have to say the best would be when I won ‘The Weakest Link, ‘Come Dine with Me and ‘Total Wipeout’.I am so proud of all 3! Best of all was ‘Total Wipeout’ as I beat Sally Gunnel! It really brought out my competitive spirit which I didn’t know I had.

How do you keep fit and healthy? What are your tips for supreme health? Do you believe in diets?

I go the gym about 3-5 times a week depending on work I also drink my Fit nYummy shakes and try cut down on carbs. I try not to be too hard on myself though as I have such a sweet tooth!

What is the most difficult thing about being famous? Would you always like to be in the public eye?

I think it is hard being in the public eye. When am having an off day, where I feel bloated or I can’t be bothered doing my hair and makeup, I’ll get papped and then publicly slatted for it. Sometimes I want to be invisible.

If you want to have a great day then what things do you find yourself doing?

I am a laid back, relaxed and happy person, it doesn’t take a lot to please me to be honest. For an ideal day I would get up after a nice lie in (which never happens with 3 boys!), be brought breakfast in bed (dream on!) then go off to the cinema and have nice meal out topped off with a lovely glass of wine. It is making me smile just thinking about it!

Do you have a favorite Liverpool restaurant? What are your top 5 things to do in Liverpool?

Top things to do in Liverpool… I would have to say a visit to The Restaurant Bar and Grill Liverpool, seeing my family shopping at Philip Armstrong showroom, walking along the River Mersey, and hearing other scouserschatting!

Who in the public eye do you admire the most?

I really admire Simon Cowell. As much as he sometimes gets negative press, he is a great role model for people of all ages and always says it how it is. I really respect that.

Who in your family influenced you the most?

My mom and my dad inspire me so much. They both work really hard and are both down so earth. They have always kept me grounded, am very close to my family. Family is the most important thing in the world in my eyes.

Can you tell us a little about womansaid?

Womensaid helps women who have been in violent or abusive relationships. It provides help and shelter and gives women the advice and guidance they need to recover and move on. It’s an amazing service which has already helped so many women in this country.
