We Are with Belgium

By Decorology @decorology_blog
Heartbroken is the best way to describe how I feel about what happened in Belgium. Why all the hate? Life is such a beautiful thing.  To honor Belgium today, I want to focus on the beauty of Belgium and it's people. The property below was painstakingly restored over the course of 11 years. Vaucelleshop is a Flemish Estate dating back to 1275 and is comprised of seven historic buildings dating back from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Enjoy the beauty below:

I'm not sure which building is which,  but they started restoration with the 1876 farmhouse, where grain was stored above the living spaces.  The property is comprised of 11 acres.

Understated elegance is the epitome of Belgian style.

That staircase is gorgeous.

The mix of antique furnishings and artwork makes the home even more special.

I love how Europeans bring the outdoors in and vice versa.

The kitchen was actually a former pig barn!

Those floors might be worth the extra effort it would take to clean them.

So beautiful.  Read and see more at the blog where I found these photos, A Thoughtful Eye
