Greetings from stay-cation land!
The kind of holiday that actually feels like a holiday! After traveling to Vancouver Island with just Kai and I last summer, I discovered a new truth to parenthood. Holidays with babies aren’t really holidays. They should most definitely be renamed to ‘travelling’ {or constant keep-away}. Staying in all kinds of un-baby-proofed places with a newly crawling baby who wants to touch everything was just exhausting.
So this summer, we are staying put. {We also happen to be saving our $$$ for a fun winter holiday in January to celebrate my finishing school…woo-hoo!}
So for our ‘stay-cation’, we are basically doing all of those things that we always say we’re going to do, but never seem to have time to do! It’s been so fun!
