Watch: Skydiver Has Terrifying Close Encounter with a Meteor

The incident happened back in 2012. After doing some research, it has been confirmed that this is actually a real meteor and not a falling piece of trash. This claimed to be the “first time a meteor has been filmed in-air after its light produced by hitting the atmosphere has gone out.”

“I got the feeling that there was something, but I didn’t register what was happening,” Helstrup told NRK. “When we stopped the film, we could clearly see something that looked like a stone. At first it crossed my mind that it had been packed into a parachute, but it’s simply too big for that.”
