Following similar events from companies like Apple that postponed events online due to the corona virus pandemic, Samsung is broadcasting the event live from South Korea.
The company faces the same problems that many telephone companies face: Sale of the high-end Note 20 and Z Fold 2 in a pandemic.
Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra

Samsung will host its unpacked event today, at which Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Z Fold 2 are expected to be announced. The timing of the August live stream is strange because Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Flip 5G just a few weeks ago. (The Flip 5G is an update of the Galaxy Z Flip, which was launched earlier this year.) Samsung's Unpacked event is practically at 10 a.m.ET / 7 p.m. PT.
