I am pleased to see that after a few months on the edge of my seat a new publication has, at last, been released to the public.
‘Wasting More Police Time‘ by PC David Copperfield is published by Monday Books (see the link on the right hand side of the page for their site) and is available through Amazon. The book is a sequel to the 2008 publication ‘Wasting Police Time’ by the same author and is compiled from real life accounts of work on the front line of modern Policing.
With numbers, morale and salaries being slashed left right and Chelsea I think that this book should be required reading for those that make the decisions about Policing in England and Wales. Perhaps Tom Winsor and Teresa May should be sent a copy for their bedside tables to serve as a reminder of the legacy that they are creating.
At just £3.49 the book has been priced within the reach of all of us in uniform (even with the cuts) so my recommendation is that you get yourself over to Amazon now and pick up a copy….
