In the State of Ohio, between Cleveland and Youngstown, sits the City of Warren. Don’t bother looking for it – you won’t find it on any map. Unless, of course, your checking for the weather on the 6 o’clock news!

Underground Railroad Landmark
Underground Railroad. Take a walk on Millionaire’s Row located in downtown Warren’s “historic district”. Here is where the “Who’s Who” of industry, commerce, and politics lived in stately Victorian mansions, and are recognized as national treasures.
Learn how “Northeastern Ohio” was once part of Connecticut after the Revolutionary War. Ephraim Quinby purchased 441 acres that he named after Moses Warren, a surveyor of the Western Reserve. Four acres were set aside in the middle of the community to be used as the village square, and is now known as “Courthouse Park”.

So, you start off your day by heading to the Mocha House to grab a cup of coffee or tea, and a light breakfast. The Mocha House was opened in an era when coffee chain shops were unheard of. Opt for a buttery croissant, home fries and a cappuccino, or a bowl of fresh fruit oatmeal and a cup of chai tea. With ample lighting, high ceilings, and spacious seating there is plenty of room to relax with a romantic novel, tap on your laptop, or just catch up on the latest gossip. Nothing brings people together more than coffee, and that is how the Mocha House was able to introduce the big city flair to the city of Warren.
World’s Largest Drumsticks
Warren has many opportunities for artists to show off their talents. As you drive thru town huge murals will catch your eye. Take a stroll down Grohl alley. David Grohl, the drummer for Nirvana and Foo Fighters frontman, was born in Warren. Local artists also show off their talents with murals and sculptures throughout Grohl alley. The alley also serves as the home to the ‘worlds largest drumsticks’.

As the day winds down you stop by the Lime Tree restaurant for a quiet dinner. Located across from “Courthouse Park”, the Lime Tree provides fresh quality food in an artistic, urban, relaxed atmosphere. The Lime Tree fries and reuben sandwich are to die for, and the hummus (ask about the flavor of the day) is served with veggies and toasted pita.
