There were days when people used to crave for sitting jobs in office, prefer sitting while working at home, roam in parks but searched for benches, etc… But today people are really looking for a change now. With prolonged sitting hours, sedentary lifestyle and working on revolving chairs, etc… people today are complaining of several body problems like lower back pain, excessive weight gain, ad hoc body structure, swelling and flattening of legs and feet, spondylitis, cervical, obesity, high blood pressure, etc… Emergence of such problems in body gives great pain and trouble for people. Hence, it is essential to seek ways which prevents us from prolonged and excessive sitting.

Ways of sitting less:

Sitting is generally advisable after workouts and tiredness. In our youth and mid aged days it is advisable to be active as much as possible. Since human beings are governed by subconscious minds, they tend to take on habits that need to be removed as soon as possible. Hence sometimes without realizing people sit and keep sitting for prolonged hours. Hence, by following the below mentioned steps, people can actually control upon their sitting habits.

Install apps for alarm or set one manually: Setting up an alarm notification for preventing prolonged sitting would sound to be quite silly in first go, but when it is a matter of your health then one should definitely do it. Simply install alarm apps that can be easily found in your Mac Store or Play Store. By setting alarm for every 10 minutes, would help the person in giving adequate time to walking or standing as well.

Keep moving: Apart from sitting work, one can definitely sweep away from those office chairs on getting a work or a personal call. While talking on phone, one can keep moving from one place to another. This would not only make you avoid sitting but would also give you a scope of some freshness on the go.

Check out the right seat: It is essential to take a seat that is right in make and good for your sitting posture. While going out in some pub or disc, it is advisable to go in for bar chairs. Bar chairs aids in giving an appropriate S Shape to the spine, leading to an appropriate distribution of weight in body.

Avoid chairs: In case of a sitting work profession, it is advisable to avoid chairs later as much as possible. Going in for standing or laying position in friendly get together can channelize the blood circulation quite possibly.

Practice walking up in office: Though technology has made us completely dependent on Emails, IM, calls, SMS, etc… it is good to sometimes walk up to your colleague for communication. This would not only give break to sitting but would also relieve the mind from consistent work routine.
